Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Unwatched (unwatched.click, "we", "us"), including our website, our public API and the "Unwatched — YouTube Summary" Chrome extension. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who we are

Unwatched is operated by Oleksandr Kupenko, an individual entrepreneur registered in Ukraine. You can reach us at support@unwatched.click.

2. What the service does

Unwatched is an analysis and summarisation tool. You submit a link to a publicly available video; we read its caption text and use a large-language model to produce a structured, article-style summary in the language you choose.

  • We do not provide video or audio downloads. Unwatched does not offer, host or deliver the media files of YouTube or any other platform, and nothing you buy here gives you access to them. To produce your summary we may retrieve a video's caption text on our own servers, and its audio where captions are missing; that working material serves only the analysis described below and is never delivered to you as a media file.
  • What you receive is newly written text. The summary, deep article, slide deck, presentation and AI opinion are generated by a language model. They are derivative commentary, not a copy of the original work.
  • Transcripts. Where a video has no usable captions, we may machine-transcribe its audio for the sole purpose of producing your summary. Transcripts are shown to you as working material and are not a substitute for the original video.
  • Still frames. Deep articles may include a small number of low-resolution still images taken from the video, used solely to illustrate the point being discussed, in the manner of a quotation.

3. Your account

Some features require an account. You must provide a valid email address, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to register. One person may not maintain multiple accounts in order to obtain additional free daily credits.

4. Credits, prices and payment

The service runs on prepaid credits. There is no subscription and no recurring charge — you buy a pack of credits once and spend it whenever you like.

  • Free daily credits. Every registered account receives 10 free credits per day. Unused daily credits do not accumulate and are reset each day.
  • Paid credit packs. Credits can be purchased in one-time packs. Current packs and prices are always shown on our buy credits page; at the time of writing, 500 credits cost 5 USD and 1000 credits cost 10 USD. Prices are set in US dollars and charged in Ukrainian hryvnia at the National Bank of Ukraine rate, so the hryvnia amount moves with that rate.
  • Validity of purchased credits. Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We do not remove credits from your balance other than in the cases described in these Terms — the end of that period, a refund, or closure of an account that breached them. The permanent increase in account limits that a purchase unlocks is not affected when credits expire.
  • What an operation costs. Each operation has a published credit price, listed on the pricing page. Some prices scale with the length of the video. The price is shown before you confirm an operation.
  • Who you are paying. The seller of record is Oleksandr Kupenko, an individual entrepreneur registered in Ukraine — not a reseller or a third-party marketplace. Card payments are processed for us by LiqPay (JSC CB “PrivatBank”); we never receive or store your card details. Your bank statement will show LiqPay or Unwatched.
  • Taxes. The prices shown are the final amount you pay. Nothing is added at checkout, and any taxes arising from the sale are borne by us.
  • Price changes. We may change the price of credit packs and the credit cost of individual operations. New prices are published on the pricing page and apply only to purchases and operations made after they take effect — they are never applied retroactively. A price change never alters the number of credits already on your balance; new operation prices do apply to operations you run afterwards, including ones paid for with credits bought earlier.

5. Refunds

Purchases may be refunded within 14 days if the credits have not been used. Failed generations are credited back to your balance automatically. The full rules are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to process content you have no right to process, or content that is illegal where you are.
  • Attempt to reconstruct, redistribute or resell a substantial part of a third-party work using our transcripts or summaries.
  • Circumvent credit accounting, rate limits or account limits, including by registering multiple accounts, sharing API keys or automating sign-ups.
  • Probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the service or its infrastructure, or use it to distribute malware or spam.
  • Resell access to the service, or present its output as a competing product, without our written agreement.

7. Third-party content and intellectual property

Videos you submit belong to their respective owners, and nothing in these Terms transfers any right in them to you or to us. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of a summary is lawful in your jurisdiction — for example as private study, research, commentary, criticism, accessibility or quotation. We respect intellectual property rights: if you believe material generated or published through Unwatched infringes your rights, write to support@unwatched.click and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it.

8. AI-generated output

Summaries are produced by large-language models and may be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for a decision, and never as professional, medical, legal or financial advice. Always check the original video for anything that matters. You keep whatever rights you have in the output we generate for you, subject to the rights of the original video's owner.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We provide the service on an "as available" basis, and we may add, change, limit or discontinue features at any time. Third-party platforms and model providers change without notice, and this can temporarily break parts of the service. If we retire a paid feature entirely, credits you have already bought remain spendable on the remaining features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, faults, or outages and changes at the platforms and model providers it depends on. A continuous interruption of up to 72 hours is not a failure to perform and is not a ground for a refund. If an interruption lasts longer, the validity period of your purchased credits is extended by the length of the outage, and you may request a refund of unused credits. Credits charged for an operation that fails are returned to your balance automatically in every case, whatever the cause. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give at least 30 days’ notice on the site and by email, and refund unused purchased credits on request.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@unwatched.click. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, abuses the credit system, or creates a security or payment-fraud risk. If we close your account without cause, we will refund unused purchased credits.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page and the "Last updated" date reflects the latest change. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply where you live.
