Setup

How to install

  1. Download and unpack

    Download the zip and unpack it to a folder you won't delete.

  2. Open extensions

    Open in Chrome or Edge.

  3. Enable Developer mode

    Turn on Developer mode in the top-right corner.

  4. Load unpacked

    Click Load unpacked and select the unpacked folder.

  5. Open the side panel

    Open any YouTube video and click the Unwatched icon to open the side panel.

Signing in

Sign in on unwatched.click. The extension picks up your session automatically, so no separate login is needed.

Good to know

  • Chrome may warn about developer-mode extensions on startup. That's expected for manual installs, just keep it enabled.
  • Free accounts get 2 summaries per day in the extension.
  • Updates are manual for now: download the new zip and load it the same way.
  • The extension is coming to the Chrome Web Store, where installs and updates will become one-click.
